What changed
Tickets has been rebuilt from scratch. Members press a button on your panel, answer a few questions, and get a private channel that only they and your staff can see. Everything is on one page with six tabs: Panel, Opening, Staff tools, Automations, Closing and Transcripts. The preview on the right shows what happens in Discord at each step.
Set up your first panel
- Open Modules and click Tickets, then press Enable.
- Follow the setup strip: pick who answers tickets, where tickets go, and the channel for the panel. Or press Start from a preset.
- Press Save Changes.
- Press Post the panel.
- Press Send a test ticket to see it all work.
What you can set
- Ticket types: each button opens its own type, with its own staff, questions and channel.
- Staff tools: claim a ticket, set its priority, hand it to someone else, add a note only staff can see, or send a saved reply.
- Automations: the bot nudges your staff, reminds quiet members, and tidies up tickets nobody is writing in.
- Ratings and transcripts: members rate the help they got, and every ticket can be saved in one of 16 looks.
Good to know
- Free bots get 3 ticket types and 1 panel in each server. Premium adds more of both, DM tickets, keyword offers, replying as the bot, exports and changing the ticket events in the builder.
- Tickets is made for newer BotGhost users who want a ticket system without building one. That's why the five ticket events and the ticket blocks only work while the Tickets module is on, not on their own. Your own ticket systems built from normal blocks keep working as before.
- The old Tickets keeps working. You'll find it as Tickets (old) in your modules. Your old settings don't move across, so set up your panel and ticket types again in the new one.
- The full guide, with pictures of every tab, is in the Tickets docs.
