Marketplace channels and easier installs

This update brings two new Marketplace channels to the BotGhost Discord, easier installs and publishing, more listing slots and more XP for creators, and a round of builder features and fixes. Your existing commands and events pick up the fixes without being saved again.

Two new Marketplace channels

#market-packs gives every approved pack its own post, so there is one place to give feedback, report a bug or ask a question about it. The creator is pinged once, when the post opens. When a new version of the pack goes live, it is posted in the same thread. If a pack leaves the Marketplace its post is closed, and it opens again if the pack comes back. A post in #market-packs is a creator level 3 reward. The Feedback and help button on a pack's page takes you straight to its post.

#market-feed shows creator news as it happens: level ups, with everything the new level unlocks, and new packs the moment they go live. You are pinged when the news is about you. Prefer no ping? Turn off Ping me in the market feed in your Marketplace notification settings.

Installing and publishing

• When a pack asks for a channel or role, pick it from your bot's own servers instead of pasting IDs.
• Each command in a pack shows a short outline of what it does, so you know what you are adding.
• Creators can rename a pack, edit its page, and unpublish or republish it without waiting for a new review.
• Owners can give a collaborator the new Publish to the Marketplace permission.
• Choose whether you hear about new installs of your packs.

More slots and more XP

When the Marketplace event launches on Sunday, every creator gets an extra listing slot. We are also raising XP gains across the board, for good, so leveling up and unlocking rewards is easier.

Also new in the builder

• If / Else branches can have a label, shown on the branch and on the line into it.
• Card Studio text that wraps can sit at the top, middle or bottom of its box.
• Message events have attachment size variables, and Send a Form file fields give one variable per file, like {form.file.1}.
• Your bot's own app emojis work in emoji variables.
• Any Text as a Member Key and Bright Line Buttons are new options in Builder Settings.

Good to know

• Everything here is on by default except the two new Builder Settings options, which are off until you turn them on.
• Existing commands, events and installed packs keep working exactly as before.
• Music now reconnects by itself after the music servers restart, so a quick retry is all it takes.
