# Create a channel
## Create a channel
Create a Channel in the server. You can choose the Name, Type, Topic, Category, whether or not to allow NSFW content, Slowmode, and the server you're creating the channel in.
## Name
The name of the Channel you're creating.
## Type
The type of channel your wish to create. You can choose between, Text Channel, Voice Channel, Category Channel, and News Channel.
## Topic
An optional topic for the new channel. This will display in the About Me of the channel.
## Category
An optional category to place the new channel in. An ID or Option can be used.
## Optional Server ID
An optional server ID to create the channel in. An ID or Variable can be used. Leave this blank to create the channel in the server this command was triggered in.
## NSFW
Whether or not to allow NSFW content within the channel. This channel will be age restricted to 18+

## Slowmode
An optional rate limit (in seconds) that you want to set the channel too.

## User Limit
An optional limit to set the size of the voice channel.

## Permissions
Add Role and User permissions to this new channel. You can use User and Role options for any permission.

Click the Add Permissions button for each individual Role or User you want to add to the channel.

### Ad
**Permission Overwrite**
The type of this permission overwrite. Either Role or User.
## Role
The selected role to configure in the channel.
Not seeing the role? Click the Refresh button shown below.
### Allow
Permissions to allow in the channel.
### Deny
Permissions to deny in the channel.

## User
The user to apply the permissions to. Either a User ID or User Option.
