# Change a members nickname

## Change a members nickname

Change the nickname of a member in a server. You can select the user who used the command, user option, or the users Discord ID. See the chart below:

| Action                    | Response                                                                                                  |
| ------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| User who used the command | Change the nickname of the executor of the command.                                                       |
| User Option               | The user option you want to change the nickname of. You need to have a user option added to this command. |
| User ID                   | The Discord ID of the user that you want to change the nickname of.                                       |

## User who used the command

Change the nickname of the executor of the command.

## User Option

The user option you want to change the nickname of. You need to have a user option added to this command.

## User ID

The Discord ID of the user that you want to change the nickname of.

## New Nickname

The New Nickname that you want to change the user’s nickname to. You can use Variables and Options inside this field.

## Reason

The reason to change the nickname. This will show in Discord Audit Log.
